Where a Materials Order Goes Wrong
Usually in one of three places: the specification, the certificate, or the lot that arrives different from the sample.
- Global Sourcing
- Mills approached directly, in their own language, against the same written spec — so the quotations come back comparable. Trading houses screened out.
- Quality Assurance
- Every COA read against the spec: trace metals as elements, full particle-size distribution, stated detection limits. Third-party testing on request.
- Escalation and Claims
- If a lot fails your incoming inspection, we take the retained sample and the COA trail back to the mill and get a replacement moving under the rejection clause.
