What Does 'Nami' Mean?
‘Nami (纳米)’ is Chinese for nanometer, the unit that defines modern semiconductor fabrication. We chose it because everything in this trade comes down to a number — a D50 in micrometres, iron in parts per million, a stated detection limit — and those are the numbers we hold a supplier to.

Our Vision
Materials still get bought on a price and a paragraph. We want the default to be a written specification, three production-lot COAs, and a rejection clause in the contract, because that is the difference between an order that performs and an order that becomes a claim. We do that between China and Korea today; the method is not specific to either.
