Silicon carbide reaches buyers as four different products — spray-dried sintering granules, classified micro powder, freestanding CVD parts, and 4H-SiC wafers — and the checkpoint that decides acceptance changes with each, so we run them as separate lines with separate verification. Two things hold across the category. "SiC" is not one material and price is not linear in purity — moving from 99.5% to 99.99% is a different manufacturing route, not a 0.49% step — so decide the grade first, then compare numbers. And every lot ships against a COA read to the agreed specification, stating the measurement method wherever it changes the number (dry sieving versus wet laser diffraction on granules is the classic case).
